Snakeoil Fretboard Oil

Drherringbones Snake Oil is made from the finest snakes in North Carolina, and is perfect to be used for Fingerboard Oil.  For you critter lovers out there we want to be clear that we only squeeze the snakes hard enough to get a small amount of oil out of each snake so they are not harmed. We rarely use the same snake twice, but admittedly it is hard to tell them apart.

We then add our special recipe of the finest mineral oil and a slight touch of pure lemon oil to assure that it works great and smells great too.

As with all our products we want everyone to be safe and smart with their instruments first and foremost and encourage everyone to make sure this process is safe for their instrument before using.   

As with all fingerboard oils it is recommended the they be used judiciously and only on the bare wood of fingerboards and bridges. We also agree that it is best practice to not apply the oil directly to the wood but via a rag or paper towel first, then wiped onto the wood thinly and evenly,  then wiped clean.  Be aware a little oil goes a long way and lasts a long time!
